What the apps store on your device
- Fold & Focus: focus sessions, tasks, history and settings. Widgets and Live Activities read this data through shared storage on the device.
- Klappkarten: decks, cards, review history and settings. Imported files (CSV, .apkg) are only read on the device. Reminders are local notifications; there is no push server.
- Sofortbild: the camera is only active while the camera screen is open. Photos are stored only inside the app. When you tap, you can share a photo or save it to your photo library; for this the app only asks for permission to add photos, not to read them.
The apps never send this data off your device. It may be included in your iCloud or computer backup if you have enabled that in iOS; Apple's terms apply. Deleting an app also deletes its data.
Permissions
Camera (Sofortbild), adding to the photo library (Sofortbild) and notifications (Klappkarten, Fold & Focus) are only requested when you use the feature. You can revoke them at any time in iOS Settings.
App Store
The apps are distributed through Apple's App Store. Apple processes data under its own responsibility when you download and update apps, see Apple's Privacy Policy. At most, we receive aggregated, anonymous statistics from Apple if you have agreed to share them with developers.
